About InfraPrism

Understand the policies shaping data centers.

Digital infrastructure changes the places we live. InfraPrism brings policy developments and public evidence together so you can see what is changing, why it matters and where to look next.

Why InfraPrism?

Infra stands for digital infrastructure. Prism represents the different perspectives needed to understand it.

A data center policy can affect electricity, water, taxes and a community at the same time. InfraPrism brings those perspectives into one place, helping policymakers and everyone with a stake in these decisions keep an eye on what is changing.

One development. Several perspectives.

Energy and the grid
Electricity demand, utility rates, interconnection and who pays for new infrastructure.
Water
Water use, cooling, conservation and public disclosure.
Taxes and incentives
Public support, eligibility, reporting and accountability.
Land and the environment
Siting, permits, emissions and local environmental effects.
People and communities
Jobs, public participation, community benefits and transparency.

Follow the evidence

InfraPrism tracks federal and selected state sources. It keeps proposals, enacted policy, voluntary guidance and facility disclosures distinct. A missing result does not mean no policy exists, and a nearby policy does not prove it applies to a facility.

Open the original sources and check the dates. See how it works, read the coverage limits or check source health.
